Great shot. The blues and the warm colors work together very well. Looks a bit tilted CCW to me.

A shot from my hike to the "Xeis" back in August. The weather was
quite bad but for this shot it worked very well. Have a great 2009,
everybody!!!

An empty sheep stable high in the Styrian Alps (Austria). The peak in
the back is the "Engelkar Spitze" with a height of about 2500m. A
place to visit when you're in that area.

Reminds me of a recent shot taken by Marc Adamus. Looks like it was almost at the same time. Were you on a workshop with him?

Canon 5D, Zeiss 35-70mm, 1/13s-f/11-ISO100, tripod, polarizer. Shot in
the Austrian Alps near Schladming.

This was the first snow for me this autumn. Amazing how a landscape
changes just by adding a little white. Thanks for all comments &
critiques.

Wow ... that's just amazing. The wide view rocks here.

The last waterfall in this little but wonderful gorge in the Alps.

Excellent shot, Paolo. I love the bright appearance of the foreground.

That's one of about thirdy little lakes in the caldera up at a height of
2300mas.

Nice to see you here as well. I don't remember if I have seen this shot on NPN before, but I love it.
Great mirror quality of the water and lovely light on the mountains.

Thanks for watching and commenting.

What can I say, Marc. For me this is one of your best images so far. It is so well balanced and the light is just amazing. The addition effect of the long exposure add some extra depth to the shot. That must have been an awesome, yet tiring trip indeed. Can't wait to see more of it.

It's real. The adjustments in Photoshop were minor - contrast and color adjustments.

The place is called "Stbing". It's a little artificial village that shows just old farmhouses. It's located near Graz in Styria/Austria/Europe.

A single leaf on the marble steps of a Calvary. The orange and the
blue were quite interesting and I gave it a try.

I understand why this is one of your favourites from this year - now it's one of MY favourites too. The technique and endurance you show here is remarkable.
Keep it up ... Andreas.
