  1. I'll let you know how the Z TC 1.4 does with the 70-200 when it finally arrives. I ordered it back in October...... I'm getting good at waiting for things. 🤣
  2. I had both the 105 f2.5 and the 105 f1.8 over the years, genuinely wished I'd never sold either. The Z 105 is my most recent purchase. Excellent as a close up lens and lovely as a general purpose short (ish) telephoto.
  3. Z9 70-200 f2.8 S @ 84mm 1/250th f8 iso 64
  4. OED definition|: the action of causing a machine or device to operate. Still didn't answer your question 🤣
  5. Yes it does, if you dig deep into the exif info. <aux:ImageNumber>2678</aux:ImageNumber>
  6. Z9 70-200 f2.8 S @ 165mm 1/400th f2.8 iso 1000
  7. I think it looks great, not for me though. It's taken me 15 years to get used to mode dials and buttons, trying to go back to actual physical dials would drive me nuts..... 🤣
  8. Z9 24-70 f2.8 S @ 30mm 1/125th f4.5 iso 64
  9. Z9 105mm f2.8 S 1/250th f3 iso 100
  10. Still reading........ but this is going to be handy. Added [Always] and [Only when flash is not used] options for Custom Setting d9 [View mode (photo Lv)] > [Show effects of settings]
  11. Z9 70-200G f2.8 @ 200mm 1/1000th f3.5 iso 64 (DX crop)
  12. Oh that's a long list of things to read! Looking good though 😀
  13. My Z6 hasn't needed any more than a blower brush for 2 and a half years of use. Let us know what product you eventually choose for the wet clean, should be an easier job than on a DSLR.
  14. Oh, I see..... I'll put my glasses on next time. Too late now, I'll do it next time. 😃 Now, back to my LR import presets...........
  15. Out of curiosity I just checked the reader speeds for both my XQD and CFtype B cards, both readers are USB 3.1 etc to a 2020 Macbook Pro. I also copied the same files. Files: 745 Z9 RAW files, 40 GB total. Sony G 64GB - 2 minutes 18 seconds CFExpress 160GB Cobalt - 1 minute 40 seconds.
  16. It is nice, however, that Nikon continues to update older models - not just with bug fixes, but functional changes as well.
  17. Can't say I've noticed a difference. 😀

  20. I also use progressive (or varifocal) glasses and have done for last 5 years or so. They don't suit everyone, but work well for me in general. I do have a 2nd pair of 'near use' glasses just for desk work to avoid what you described, after a few hours my neck can get quite sore.
  21. After 3 years with an EVF, I really struggle to adjust back to an optical one.
  22. Personally, I'm waiting for the 40 1.2 nokton in Z mount.
