Very nice, Costas. I think the square format works well. The tree branch serves as a guide for the eye to view the upper portion of the photo - good composition! All the best, Lori

I'm sorry I've waited so long to comment on this photo - I just love it! The colours, the lighting, the hint of mischief in her eyes (like the cat who ate the canary) are just wonderful. By far, my favourite.

So beautiful and delicate. I really like this high key technique - it makes her look so angelic while maintaining the colour/contrast in her eyes and lips. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but the only thing I would change would be the hand in the left hand corner (I think it distracts from her beautiful face). 7/7 cheers, Lori
  1. Welcome to Photo.net Although, I do mostly photo manipulation, I can appreciate a good shot. This is well seen - almost a surreal feel to it, which I like. If you like this type of photography, you can check out a fellow photo.net member Matthias Steup.Cheers.

This is a great capture, Costas. Altough I'm not a huge fan of mixing B&W with colour, it works well here. Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday, and my best wishes for the New Year, as well! Cheers, Lori

Great composition and lighting. I really like the contrast between the dark stormy clouds in the background and the light source in the forefront.
  2. I thought I would drop in to see what you have been up to...you've been very busy, indeed! I really like this photo in particular (although I think it's one of your earlier photos)...there seems to be a flurry of activity at the harbour, and you've captured it well, dogs and all! A great eye for silhouettes. Lori
  3. Great! I think you have created great balance here, using the right amount of white space above. I like the hidden faces - this creates a sense of mystery. (Perhaps, the only thing I would change is the flowers on the table - it distracts from the clean, geometric lines of the figures/chairs/wall.) Good work : )

I just love this, Rina! I know this is a still, but it looks like it is in motion...almost as if it is performing a Flemenco dance! The colours are outstanding.

Great technique, and I like the idea. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but maybe the shadow of the balloon is a little flat. Perhaps, use a different blend mode for the shadow so that it's not so prominent, or maybe a different angle(?) By the way, fantastic portfolio...very unique style. Best regards, Lori

Interesting idea, I like it. You could possibly do different types of buildings in this way as part of a series...just a thought! Lori
