Entirely original, beautifully rendered in color - curious though how this would look in B/W - and most problematic for PN standards... I think this picture - apart from its obvious, hart-breaking beauty - might generate an interesting discussion. Thanks for sharing, Jacqueline.

Personally I don't think it would be possible to take a bad photo of this little angel ... and indeed you have some wondrously wonderful pictures of her in your portfolio. But this is arguably the best so far. Where you get your ideas from is beyond me ... but you do it extremely well. Just keep 'em coming please and share the awesome beauty of your world with the rest of us. 7/7 of course!

Heidi, Frank, Lori, Jose, Brendan, Christian and Ray...thank you for your kind words.

Children never ceases to amaze me. This calm, almost contemplative moment, was preceded by uncontrollable agitation...

Frank, I tried B&W -I was curious too after you mentioned it, but I think colour suits better, her fair skin emphasises the blues in the thistles. Christian thank you and well spotted, I'll see to it. Jose, tus palabras me llegan al alma...

Compelling, delicate and morose. You have a perfect book cover. Contact an agency, they're crying out for your work! Seriously. Needs cropping.

I have spent some time with your images. All such exquisite and deliberate pieces of art. More a symphony than an image really. They all seem to require attention from all five (or six) senses. I think this one is my favorite. 7/7

It's very powerful. This picture looks as if it was an icon, of a modern style or so. The thistles seem to be wrapping around the kid, and the kid's expression of resignation is as if she couldn't help it. She is topless, and that makes me think she is helpless. My subconsciousness tells me it's about growing up, realizing something, maybe sth inevitable. A clash of innocence and hard life. It really moved my imagination and the subconscious mind. thanks for sharing.Tomasz
