heidi pohjolainen 0 Posted October 28, 2007 So beautiful! Calm colours and the childs position couldn't just be better. An Excellent photo, I love it! Link to comment
frank_p 0 Posted October 28, 2007 Entirely original, beautifully rendered in color - curious though how this would look in B/W - and most problematic for PN standards... I think this picture - apart from its obvious, hart-breaking beauty - might generate an interesting discussion. Thanks for sharing, Jacqueline. Link to comment
lacrewe 0 Posted October 28, 2007 Just beautiful. This is one of my favourite child portraits...very raw, but delicate at the same time. Link to comment
Mi 7/7 y mi felicitacion Link to comment
mookx 0 Posted October 29, 2007 Personally I don't think it would be possible to take a bad photo of this little angel ... and indeed you have some wondrously wonderful pictures of her in your portfolio. But this is arguably the best so far. Where you get your ideas from is beyond me ... but you do it extremely well. Just keep 'em coming please and share the awesome beauty of your world with the rest of us. 7/7 of course! Link to comment
cristiann 0 Posted October 29, 2007 Nice :). Reclaim the right ( in picture ) shoulder light and color! Best regards, .Cristiann. Link to comment
rana1 0 Posted October 29, 2007 Heidi, Frank, Lori, Jose, Brendan, Christian and Ray...thank you for your kind words. Children never ceases to amaze me. This calm, almost contemplative moment, was preceded by uncontrollable agitation... Frank, I tried B&W -I was curious too after you mentioned it, but I think colour suits better, her fair skin emphasises the blues in the thistles. Christian thank you and well spotted, I'll see to it. Jose, tus palabras me llegan al alma... Link to comment

deep western russia 0 Posted March 22, 2008 Compelling, delicate and morose. You have a perfect book cover. Contact an agency, they're crying out for your work! Seriously. Needs cropping. Link to comment
sjmurray 34,255 Posted April 15, 2008 Very creative and beautiful, as are all your photos! Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted April 20, 2008 I have spent some time with your images. All such exquisite and deliberate pieces of art. More a symphony than an image really. They all seem to require attention from all five (or six) senses. I think this one is my favorite. 7/7 Link to comment
tomasz_wojciechowski 0 Posted August 29, 2008 It's very powerful. This picture looks as if it was an icon, of a modern style or so. The thistles seem to be wrapping around the kid, and the kid's expression of resignation is as if she couldn't help it. She is topless, and that makes me think she is helpless. My subconsciousness tells me it's about growing up, realizing something, maybe sth inevitable. A clash of innocence and hard life. It really moved my imagination and the subconscious mind. thanks for sharing.Tomasz Link to comment
