Is the rattle in 24-35mm F3.5L FD lens normal

<p>Mine rattles, too. Appears to be slop in the zooming mechanism. I think it's normal for this lens. I have not had any problems with the image quality of my copy, so I don't think it's anything to be concerned with.</p> -
