I used to use Microsoft Office picture manager before I had photoshop. I don't know where it stands in comparison to Iphoto, but I could play with colors, saturation, brightnes. contrast, resize, crop etc.

Josh,
Just an observation, and it happened so I noticed.
The selection of these images is random, but it does not have an interlock to not repeat the image already being shown as main page. I had the same image that I was seeing also in the side one.
Regards

Yes, not only intersted but now in copetetion to have a better gear. One of them went fo the same company as me, olympus and the other for Nikon. I am trying more so that I have more company for outdoor shoots.

My father. He was the family photographer and when ever there was a get together, he would ask all families together and then separately to come for the session. Still today the black and white photographs are the only ones that remind us of the old times, and they are perfect.

Have a look at this for what focal length you are looking for and then search this forum for the discussions.

I have 50-200 f2.8-3.5 and it is an excellent lens.

I don't know what I did, but this is what is happening.
I want to make a fram using the canvas size and I am trying to choose a color.
But no matter what I choose, the color is always gray.
Thanks for helping me out in advance.

I have seen some good reviews of this lens in this forum. It is good lens for daylight shooting.

Ron - Great street photos.
Vlad - On the worries for being inexpensive, dont worry at all. Instead take the E510 with IS. Most kit lens value and good features for that price in any consumer dslr.
I have E500 and other than the IS I am very happy with it.

Josh comments are adeqaute. Let it go and move on.

If your choice is between E510 and D40, I would recommend E510 from what knowledge I have about these 2 cameras. It has body IS which is good for beginners and for low light situations, D40 does not have this.
Olympus has good lenses in all ranges so the choice shoud not be depending on the lenses.
Body IS is one time investment, If you go for IS in lens, each IS lens will be much more costlier than the non IS lens. So its also an economical option.

Would it matter if I am choosing the type of paper wrong in the settings while printing.

Thanks Ellis for the comment and for the snap.
My CS2 color choice is already RGB. So you mean that while printing, @ options - color handling, I choose "let photoshp choose colors" and Printer profile "Adobe RGB (1998)".
Or something else.

I have a Canon Pixma MP530 printer. My laptop scren is not calibrated but I
have checked it side by side with others and looks OK.
The problem is when I print an image in the printer mentioned above, it is
totally different than the image on screen. Usually it is off color and
saturated with yellow high and blue less. I have to adjust all and try several
times before I get what is on the screen. The printer is CMYK and I am working
on RGB in CS2.
I am attaching a sample that looked good in my screen but when printed was
high on yellow. I had to increase blue upto +35 and increase cyan +11 to get
what I was looking at the screen.
Please advice what I am doing worng here.

In simple words..........
It is a place I prefer over all for the content, quality, discussions AND not to forget, the ease of surfing it. I find it an easy navigatable site than any other, which are so confusing.
The polices can be debated as everyone has a different view. The conclusion (from my view) is that it is a site which caters to my requirements, and I think many will say the same from their viewpoints too.

:-))))))))
Thats the solution....take the problem OUT.....

Is this contact cover sufficient or they have to be in a separate small plasctic bag.

Check out the E510 by olympus. It is quite light compred to other dslr's and has in body stablization. It has a small brother E410 but that does not have body IS. They have good kit lenses 14-42 and 40 - 150 mm (crop factor x2) so that covers a good range. You can always upgrade to the high grade ones.
