Yeah, better focus (and maybe greater DOF) would really help here. These are hard shots to get though!

Karen, I think you have the right idea here. Next time wait for some early/late light and use a grad ND filter to hold back the sky. Love the green in Ireland!

YEah, lose the stamp, but probably your strongest photo on PN to date.
The middle of the picture may be a little washed out, but continue exploring with this light. Using darker themed foregrounds, progressing to lighter backgrounds gives a 3-D quality.

Be careful of washed-out skies. Good leading lines, but in general this shot is a little over-exposed and could use some contrast (no ratings)

I'd suggest you correct the horizon (straighten the picture). Next time try a darker background (no rates)

Often in street photography a shy photographer (like yours truly) will go for a back shot, when a front shot will be better. I think this is one of those situations (no ratings).

Good capture. Consider a landscape format which would bring the focus on the baby.

Try this in BW. Sometimes this type of portrait is improved when you remove the "distraction" of color. Good pose, though (no rates)

This is comical and unique (5/6)

Why not try a cooler LB here?

I like this one. Watch the highlights on the boy's face (5/6)

Unique capture. Watch the background. Generally, you don't want a lighter background than your subject (no ratings)

Good job. I'd consider croppign off the upper "empty" white space.

Next time I'd suggest using a wide angle to get closer to the grave yard while still including the sky. Watch your foreground--all that empty green is needless.

You start to lose the horse's back hooves in the lower right of the frame
