    A couple days after I returned to the states after being gone a loong

    Browsing through your portfolio, this image caught my eye. It has texture--thus, a good choice for BW. One complaint though--it seems a bit soft. Even some sharpening software could help your intended focus point.

    I like the composition and the use of compression to achieve such composition. If I were to change anything I might work to improve the contrast of the flowers themselves. The contrast seems low because the petals are a bit over-exposed.

    The composition and diversity of subjects makes this shot stand out. If ANYTHING, I'd clone out the green plant in the bottom. In my book it's a slight distraction. I'm giving you a 6 for aesthetics and a 7 for originiality because I've never seen a shot quite like this. (And way to get their eyes all towards the camera!)
