This subject matter is difficult to photograph in an interpretive way. It would be more dramatic if you had some storm cloud detail directly behind the columns. The columns are not in sharp focus due to insufficient depth of field.

Taken at the Lavra - Kiev, Ukraine.
-
Mood was tense, but not threatening.
-
Demonstrator who confronted security forces.
-
There was no rioting when the verdict was announced. The heavy
presence of riot police, for the most part, had little more to do than
keep the main street open for traffic. Tymoshenko's supporters were a
mixed, ad hoc group. The opposition was a largely anonymous,
organized, and tightly controlled group of apparently paid demonstrators.
There was no sense of danger in taking these photographs with a
point-and-shoot.

This picture would be more dramatic with natural shadows projecting on the wall.

You have stopped the motion well and the exposure is good. The composition is very loose and needs strong cropping on the three player subject. A tight, frontal view of the defenders would have been more effective.

The over-exposed rectangle on the left is a distraction.

I like your use of vignetting. It would be interesting to see this as a "straight" photo.
