1. Many folks are interested in these for their fine Zeiss lenses. A Biotar/Planar is very desirable ( unfortunately) which if sold separately will do reasonably well. In fact I would like to have one in Exacta mount. I have never been put off my the kinky design . 'Although the hand switching mentioned dance mentioned is my own experience. I think you shouldn't bother selling it. Try shooting it, you may find handling such a thing a fun challenge and it makes photography interesting again. I mean you read up on it now.. you know what it is, you cleaned it up etc Now use it!
 2.
Nice result from this little Olympus star that could. I have seen these various models popping up here. I am fond of little film cameras. This one seems to have a good mix of auto and manual. Some models only have battery operation, other only Auto etc. I found the busy scenes interesting as people are doing what they love. I found the houses and sculpture more to my sense of order. Thanks for sharing!

 3. When I first got serious with photography it was 1980 I bought a used Yashica FX2. I used that for thousands of photos over the next 10 years.. mostly BW self made and some color slides. It was stolen in 1989 with a roll of film I seriously missed as it was my last roll from my six month German trip. It had pictures of my future wife. It was replaced thereafter by another two. Pictured below is not mine but a stock photo.

 4. No my first camera was stolen upon my return to the US after a six month sojourn in Europe. My story begins just like Steve Levine. My cousins lent me an old 620 or 127 for a field trip to .... Washington DC. My brother got an 104 Instamtic for his Bday a year or so later and I of course had access to this too. My baptism into real photography came ten years later with one time use of a Tower 55 /Rippa Yamato that my father let me use. What eventually launched me was my own Yashica FX2 SLR that was stolen It had the great 1.7 Planar lens that was especially good. I marvel at the photos still done back then!
