"Overcooked" most certainly. The sky is 100% blown and the sidewalk and shirt are nearly there as well. I set out this day to keep the sun in front of me rather than behind my back so as a result will need to do a better job taming the highlights while keeping some detail in the mid tones and shadows. I will rework this one to see if I can get those highlights under control.

Mediterranean Geckos have moved into the neighborhood and are doing

quite well making themselves at home. I found this one crawling across

my ceiling early this morning. He is pretty small at two and a quarter

inches so feel free to click image to see more detail.

Thanks David, no need for sorry. I agree with you on the fork. It was just a little project for the Canon Thursday forum. I hadn't done anything for this week and left myself precious little time to get something out in time. I do like the light, detail and color but as you mentioned the fork kind of throws it. I tried various crops but the original composition limited me to this view. Oh well, another day - some other mushroom.
