    The lake reflection is a bit too bright to look natural, if this was your goal. The very white grass (burnt out?) in the foreground disturbs a bit. Apart from this a lovely shot with beautiful contrasts and a very good exposure balance. I also like the composition.

    Funny... the darkness of sky and shades and the whiteness of the snow are what make this photo different from a boring B&W of the same mountains with the same snow. We think exactly the opposite here because I aimed to the contrast you are criticizing.

    Thanks. Pierre, believe it or not all I did was to increase contrast. (and obviously remove color). I've never seen a sky like this matching so well with the lines of the slopes of the mountains. I was driving back home, but I really had to stop the car and take this image. Probably also the focal lenght of just 10mm adds to the photo. Thank you
