    Mauro.... mi hai un po' aperto gli occhi. Credevo che non ci fosse nulla da cambiare, ma hai ragione. Forse croppando via un po' di cielo la composizione risultera' davvero migliore. GRAZIE!

     

    Monte... thanks for pointing this out. 1/1250 actually seemed too much for the light I remembered and for the photo I got and infact it was actually 1/250. I mistyped it. Sorry. The photo was not taken from an airplane, but from the top of the tower. Thanks again

    The title is referred to that small cross you can see on the top right. The whole composition points there. I have no idea on how one could get on that rock, but someone did it. Almost every peak in my area has a cross on the top, because mountains and religion are very related (both of them make you look up, for example).

     

    Yes, this place is in Italy. It is the most important mountain directly looking on my hometown: Lecco. You can reach this place after a tiring and steep hike in less than 2 hours.

     

    The atmospheric actions made the limestone rocks look like that.

     

    This is the classic photo which loses a bunch seen so small, also because I probably messed up with the sharpening in this reduction. Printed it big acquires such an energy....Thanks for your positive feedback. It was much appreciated!
