Ciao Michael, how great to be again in touch with you. Yesterday, after over a year, I suddenly remembered of photo.net, my gallery and the people who could have commented and received no answer :-) I'm still here and taking photos. I am now an engineer and I decided to go one step further with university. Time is few, I have something like 1800 raw photos still to process, but hopefully one day or another I will make it! And you? Anything cool went on?

Thank you

Thank you Jina for expressing your point of view. I didn't crop those boats out because it was impossible to do that without cutting also the 3rd one and if you cut the 3rd one you lose all the reflections :(

Sorry for being so late with this answer. I'm no longer posting images on the internet because I have no more time for that. Anyway reading your lines gave me immense pleasure. Coming to your question, this village sits on the banks of the blue Como Lake. The colour is so dark because of the depth which reaches a maximum of 410m/1300ft.
Thanks for visiting my portfolio

You definitely captured the moment.... I can almost feel the wheel rotating. I really love this one. Ciao

Erik, glad to see you back on PN. Thanks for your comment. This photo well expresses why I love my 10-20 Sigma wide angle lense :)

Craig, you don't have to apologize! You weren't misunderstood. I read your comment and appreciated it, but then I also had a look at the ratings and they clearly show that if few people liked my image, many others didn't. The meaning of my comment was that despite your neutral/positive feedback and my good opinion of the photo I posted, I was sorry because this image wasn't appreciated like the others in my portfolio.

Breathtaking. The blue tones are so deep and outstanding!

The light and shades are just perfect in this photo. Great landscape

It is meant to be tilted. It adds dynamism, like the droplets on the lense. It was an experiment... sorry it was not appreciated as other photos I posted. I read this feedback as: "This is not the direction to follow, try something else". Thanks for commenting, anyway. I much appreciated it :)
