2. I decided to post this version with the deer not centred. I think it works because the left side of the image is not all cluttered up with bushes. opinions?

 6. this shot was published today, April 1st in the Lethbridge Herald.
 7. this seemed to be a very inquisitive critter. may have been the noise from my camera's autofocus was getting his attention

 9. Nikon Coolpix P900, this is at full 2000 mm zoom. it blows me away what level of detail and quality I could get standing there doing a handheld shot! Yeah, it's not super sharp, but at 2000mm zoom it's pretty good. and... who knew Weasels could be so cute

 11.
Thanks Bob, its working now
http://www.photo.net/photo/18207674
FYI in all my 10 years here, I have only used the single file uploader not the Bulk Uploader and the EXIF upload has always worked.

 12. new Nikon P900 testing zoom @ 2000 mm hand held shot. this camera amazes me
 13.
I used to be able to see technical details on unaltered photos I would post to this site. As of a couple days ago I notice that field is not appearing. What is the story here? example of what I used to see in the Details tab right after the Custom Fields. Was this feature removed? Has anyone else noticed this?

Technical Details

Exposure Date: 2014:08:09 07:15:21;
ImageDescription: ;
Make: NIKON;
Model: COOLPIX P600;
Exposure Time: 1/2500.0 seconds s;
FNumber: f/8.0;
ISOSpeedRatings: ISO 800;
ExposureProgram: Other;
ExposureBiasValue: +429496728 5/6
MeteringMode: Other;
Flash: Flash did not fire, compulsory flash mode;
FocalLength: 143.3 mm mm;
FocalLengthIn35mmFilm: 800 mm;
Software: Adobe Photoshop 7.0;

 14. this is at about 150.0mm zoom out of the possible 2000 mm available... also, why is photo.net not showing the technical details of this photo? another one I am testing from old camera uploaded just now is not showing technical details either

 17. I literally had a couple of seconds to capture this shot, then the clouds hid it. no chance to zoom in closer, so this is cropped quite a bit.

 19. I don't know how to include the EXIF data or I could show you there was an additional 2.2 digital zoom. full reach is about 2880mm equivalent! and this was handheld to boot since I left my monopod in the car. I did lighten it a bit to bring out the yellow in its eyes. will try to attach original thanks for commenting.
