Super color, composition and POV ! thanks for sharing.. somehow the jpeg artifacts are showing up (on my monitor at least) at the top right corner of the pic, other than that the pic is perfect !!. Maybe a starfish on the foreground rocks might launch this pic into stratosphere :)

What you have achieved here is amazing, hats off to your skills. The placement of the bench, flock of birds, god-rays are perfect. The texture on the ground leads one into the picture.. well done. One minor niggle from my POV is that the colours on the bench somehow seem to vying for attention more than the magic in the sky... All in all a lovely picture, lets see more :)

Chris, Stephen,
Thank you again for your comments and suggestion. Here is the updated (with only the sky sharpened) image. As you said this does seem to improve the overall look of the image..

Kim,
Thank you for the kind words.
Matthew,
You are right, the colour version did not "stand out" as you rightly pointed out, somehow when I clicked the picture I had a B/W in mind.
Stephen, Chris
I selectively sharpened everything minus the clouds, as I feared making the clouds sharper would ruin the beautiful painting effect. Now that you guys say that is looks a bit odd, I might need to rethink... hmm any ideas ?

This picture reminds of a water painting, which in a way it is :) i suppose. Very beautiful composition and colors. This is the picture I would have in my living room. Beautiful.

This version does send the message home straight. Very good use of contrast, depth and composition. You have managed to transform a simple photograph into something that tells a story and takes one back. Apt title. Lets see more !

This picture tries to capture the essence of Paris. Thanks for your time.

I was distributing raisins (Kish-mish in Hindi) to the children in a
small village which I landed up in during my trek in the Himalayas.
This little boy was shy and standing aloof, I asked him if he wants
some Kish-mish, to which he shyly said yes and that was the exact
moment I caught this picture.
your comments are welcome.

Jill,
The caption is apt for this image, hats off to your creativity. The lighting is also good. As mentioned in your profile, you have successfully come up with a image that is original, aesthetic and with pleasing composition. My congratulations. BTW B/W works for this image, I "imagined" a colour image, and it did not look good. All in all a lovely picture and thank you for sharing.
