1.
This is the same old story here, when we first started to have Japanies goods here, we did not like it and thought it is so cheap made, today Japan leading the photographic world as well with many other stuff in our market.
Chinees will also come to that level sooner or later, I have seen many DSLR made in Thailand, one of those marks as Nikon, will it be harder for the chinees to acheive, I do not think so.
I have seen a panoram unit made by german company at the photo fare in Thailand this time and seen the same one made by chinna, the price is 10 time cheaper.
I bought some chinees stuff this time , one of those things are the freq. trigers and they made with vrey high skill and they are working all ok.

 2.
Yes my friend Gary, education is a civilized way of doing things and doing it right, when I look at my images against some of the great photographers here on photo.net or on some other site, I know that I do luck that educational need, may be I have the gift but when that gift joined with the proper education,

I am sure I can utilize my gift in much wider approch, like the images of our friend Charles Webster.

I can be a good technission in a field of power generation but I will not be as good as and Engineer with a degree form UV. and possibly with a senior Authorization class A from the X CEGB in UK, for sure the difference will be muc too much.

Please my friend , do not let people given you the high rating and the sweet comments on your images fool you or fool me , let we understand and educate our self's to be good in the craft we like and enjoy doing, there is no shame out of that.

We say the best man is the man who knows his shortage and work hard to correct them.

All of the best regards for you my friend.

 3.
I do not have the habbit to argue with my friends althuogh I beleive photography is an Art , first the gift which the Artist should have and then the knowledge and understanding, both they compelete the good photo taken.

May be to some people the easy way of producing an image is an exicuse for their limited understanding and or lazy ness to learn the hard way.

How could I beleive that some one with the gift of art and a degree educational wise in this same field knows just as some one using a DSLR point and shoot, this is not possible.

We make it possible for our selves as we do not like to admit it and we might not except to see some one else better than us, but this is reialty which we have to live with .

We might at some time make a Friday out of Thrusday but that what we twist things to serve our need and not the rule of this universe.

Photographers with knowladge, when they process their films at a conversioanl lab is not like a click of a mouse with photoshop.

All I want to reach is that there is too much in the Art of photography, too much than just point and shoot.

Photography is an Art geting tought in Uv. and collages and different Art institutes, so it must have theory , formulas and rules, other wise it will just be a DSLR.

 4.
My friend David W. Griffin, I was only trying to bring to the attention that some how to some people here and not all, photograpny is a dead easy hobby of point and shoot, I do not beleive so my self other wise I will spend my time searching of knowladge to teach my self and improve my skill.

Thank you my friend and wishing you all of the best.

 5.
Photography is of no Art and of no Rules, many these days will come with such statement without even feeling shy or even knowing how much they are humiliating photography!

If photography is of no Art and have no rules why people have to go to University or collages to study the Art of photography?

If photography is of no Art or having no Rules, why we are bothered with light physics and other technical aspects?

It is easy then to just pay a little of money buy a camera, snap shoot an image, post it on a site, wait for a kind possibly a soft ware programmer to pass through, pick your image , post it on his site first page and make a hero and a photographic master out of you .

And they come and say photography is not been humiliated, what more humiliation could take place more than this.

I just like to know, why I have to go teaching myself photography, why I need to learn from others, well to learn what, having a camera in hand and shooting an image?

I always thought carpentry is having rules and measurements, otherwise when the carpenter built a door without rules his door will a sort of twisted all over and will not fit the place it is designed for.
The mechanical Engineer to not need rules, why he need one, to open a nut or close it?

I really feel so sad that we left all of those great colleges and Universities fooling us with rules and taken our money and time away, what a waste.

 6.
If the effect is only on the side of the film, it is possibly your camera back is leaking light, if the developer is weak or bad process cycling that would effect the whole film.

Yes the un even agitation of the film during the processing will migh not give process to ages but thats possibly on the uper ones only where the chemical might not reach it good.

Check your camera back and also make sure when you load your films are done safely with no light permitted to enter the side of the ilms and so on when you finish with it and removing it from the back , this is when you use roll films like the 120/220 and so on.

 7.
When shooting 8 years expired films and getting many of the elements turn to be good, like exposure, colors and contrast, what would be the other elements which might turn to be false or not good ?

Few days back I shoot a Fuji 100 ASA color Negative film , yes I did get very nice result but again I noticed sever grain, specially in the sky, could this be one of the elements and bad signs for such an 8 years expired film ?

Thank you and wishing you all of the best.

 8.
My friend Bob Atkins, I do not agree that a owning a camera make a good photographer, there are millions of people in this world having cameras but the ant photographers by any means.

You can have a brush in hand but thats do not make you a painter, Art is a gift and if you do not have that gift you will never be an artist.

Sorry my friend for my replay to your statment, I do not mean being rude , wishing you all of the best my friend.

 9.
Yes my friend, I have a bad heart since I been brough up to this world, using the 300MM F2.8 Nikon this time at the Open Safari in Thailand , did give me a lot of pain in the heart and my left shoulder, which is not a good sign and I had to rush to hospital after having a tablets under the tounge to make sure the heart keep pumping.

I hope my friend, you clear off pain and never have it again, all the best my friend.

 10.
I have just received the above finder from adorama and I also ordered the batteries for it, I tried to downlaod the operating manual but that was not possible for me to do from here, I do not know where to install the battery in this finder, I will approciate it if some one tell me where I put the battery , please.

Thank you and wishing you all of the best.

 11.
There are so many nice and very pleasant people on phot.net, many of them do add a lot of contributions to make this place a wonderful home for all and plus helping others technically.

I have already left home driving to Saudia Arabia by 02:00hrs this morning and I am at the moment in Dammam the east part of the Kindom, I have taken some photos using the hassel. on the way and will continue my drive to Al Tayefin few hours time, another around 1200KM from here, I do not have any digital camera with me this time and shooting only film with hassel. and the Toyo Field 45 CF camera.

My Favorites memeber on photo.net is very hard to pick as there are so many wonderful memebers here and so many h\who did help me a lot , in order to be honest with my self and with every one else , I would say Lex Jenkins, please give me your favorites member here, thank you.

 12.
I read every signle word in this thread and in all of the threads concerning photography in order to improve my self , my English as well, out and in, picking words from here and going to MSW to translate them, not as easy as those whom they read and understand from the frist pick.

The idea here is like a testy piece of cake, doesnt matter if it looks awful or nice, it matter how tastey it is and the POW sound for sure very tastey for those who get it , not as it is designed for, the moment that POW on the first page it has a different value to every one, No, it is no a descussion metrial or educational element, I understand we all are human, we have our ways of contacts with each other, friendships, different realtions and issues and all of that possibly play a major rule in every think we do in our life, it is not sposed to be this way but this is human nature.
When I see a photo of no technical quality hits the top and get the cap , I look at it as it been the best image went through photo.net system or so it ment to be by those who picks it up to be so.

This is not just fooling others on site when said it is a discussion image but the worst it is fooling the photographer of that photo much more, instead of showing him how to improve and learn we push him to the top and make him beleive he is the best, that photographer will never learn that way and it is not fare for him.

If the reason behind POW is discussion , why not call it "week discussion photo", or any other name related to the purpose of that issue, and why not stop given it more than what it deserve and stop given the cap.

If for any reason photo.net decide to have the best photo of the week on the first page and I can not see why not, what would it be called ?, what it will have, while the cap is going in its wrong path, they will give it 3 posts of the goal or what?

I think many great photographers on photo.net deserve being given the cap, not just for their high skill in the trade but also for some whom are given a lot of hard work to make this site a very successful community educational site.

I am so sorry if by any means I failed to lay out my words in a proper manner and went wrong to any of the members at this wonderful commuinty, I try my best to synchronize sharp at 12hrs. with every one.

 13.
Thank you my dear good friend Lex, I do not have the habbit of causing trouble to any one any where but I thought this might cause trouble to other members that why I brought it here specailly with my poor English I did not know what to do.

I will my friend next time report it to the site help forum for sure.

Thank you my friend I always approcaite that moderators are very helpful and very much doing hard work on the site, you specially always been too kind and gentlman.
Rashed

 14.
photo.net is a photographic and a coomunity site, when there is a member with no any sort of activities, no posting images and not participating in the forums, just hidden their idle , he should be deleted from the system, what is the use of such people for the site or for the community, if it is a matter of just viewing images on site , those people could do that without opening an account .

 15.
I did not know what to do specially after reading this :
