This was taken this afternoon in Michigan after the freezing rain
came through. Critics welcomed. Thanks for taking a look.

I think this photo is interesting and pleasant to view says the amatuer photographer in me. However I am a mechanical contractor and the message tagged to this photograph seems silly and the electrical contractor who put this system in was a slight bit sloppy. The bottom pipe clamp is crooked in relation to the others but that is because the unistrut that the pipe clamp is mounted to is mounted to close the pipe bend and cannot help be crooked. The electrical job is either incomplete or more equipment is anticipated, or it was poor planning due to the two incomplete pipe stubbs on the right verticles. At any rate it brings questions to mind and I suppose a good photograph will do this. I compliment you on the originality of the photo. Since I work in this environment this photo will inspire myself to look at my surroundings a little closer. Excellent effort and thank you for your post.

I'm indifferent to this photo. And in part that is why I wish to
have you all critique it. Here is the story of the photo. The
morning this photo was taken I had to make 320 mile trip up the east
coast of Michigan. I knew it would be a nice sunrise and I also
knew where this peer was and wanted to incorporate them both.
Unfortunately I was later than anticipated and this is the blinding
sun I had to work with. I think I may have gotten away with it. You
be the judge.

I thought it was cool the way the clouds inversely copied the the
peninsula. Critics welcome.

That is how a critique is done. Thanks Doug.

This is the abandoned train station of Michigan Ave. in Detroit
City. It has become a symbol of Detroit's inability to revitalize
and the slow but persistant death of the rust belt.

Well done. Beautiful landscape, with nice colors and lighting.

I adjusted the contrast a little to compensate for my crappy camera. The colors, composition, etc. are all real.

Fresh out of the oven today.

Made a round trip of Michigan today and came back with some new
photos.

Religion by membership only. No tresspassing. Is this fence locking
someone or something in or out? I don't know.

I agree Dave. Maybe a couple steps in front of the small trees on the lower right would have produced a better shot. Good effort.
