  1. I was walking down this path yesturday carrying my Large Format

camera (very heavy by the way, i havnt gotten a lightweight tripod

yet) the lighting stopped me in my tracks, i sat my camera down and

waited on the oppertune time. there is a swimming area just to the

right, people were everwhere. i got lucky, no one was on the path,

at least for 1 sec at f64 after i took the exposure, i looked

behind me and there were like a dozen people waiting for me to get

done before they made there way down the path to the swimming hole.

(if you have ever shot large format, then you know it takes a little

time even to get one image.) thanks again for looking

I just noticed my picture is crooked, i guess when i was scanning the negative, i didnt realize i had it in the holder wrong. lol oh well
  2. when i do shots like this, no one comments i guess because they are done over and over again lol, but hey! this is what i like, and i like this one, beautiful composition, the big rock on the left perfectly balances the smaller rock on the right, great shot, keep doing it, keep us waterfall enthuseists alive.
  3. This is the upper part of the Nantahala River, not far where it

comes out of the mountain. it was late evening, when i metered the

shot, i still had to use a #25 filter for the reason my camera will

only close down to f22 and my speed for this was 1 sec, thanks for

    looking,

  4. thanks scott, actually this photo is alot wider, the neg is 6x6, but scanner will only scan 35mm, im working on getting a medium format scanner though. great idea about staning directly under statue. i would like to get this shot early in the morning or maybe late in the afternoon, i took it at like 2 in the day when the sun was beaming directly on it. thanks for a critique..
