My wife plucked this out of a cedar mulch bed along the driveway where she thought it didn't belong. The mulch provided a nice preservation of the squirrel planted nut halves and root system, so I took a few shots before transplanting. -

In this Hotel Vazensky calling card composition I tried employing the same Eastern European lawless adrenaline-testosterone raising atmosphere that worked for Quentin Tarantino’s "Hostel". Aka; the Venus fly trap endgame of the over exploratory Western male; so here is the bait! -

I like the simplistic melancholy mood. Nice use of blur and texture. Sepia tone would make it a Stieglitz! -
Nice geometric lay out, with the viewer hard left with a full view of the beautiful architecture she sees on the right. I would love to see a second (not better, just different) version with some added contrast or tone mapping to the upper background architecture. This is one of those "treasure" shots that should be played with in a variety of dimensions. -
Brilliant use of low f/ to draw the eyes of the viewer to that of the subject! -
Nice street photography, and brilliant capture of self indulgence! I don't think you will find this crowd volunteering at the Salvation Army food pantry anytime soon!
