attractive image, but I'm not conviced about the format/composition. to me they seem to be too much on top, perhaps enhanced by the narrow format -

the cat lifts it from good to very good.

The exposure seems a bit harsh, but I like the dof. Best of it is of course the little scene unfolding here. the vendor with his helmet on, but especially the boy. His expression (he can taste that ice cream already) and his persistance to go for the one he wants... the standing on the toes, the grabbing... the height problem is not going to stop him.

fun pictures. have a more rural feel than the water festival I'm used to seeing here in Thailand. A fantastic occasion for photos... and for camera damage

outstanding photograph. perfectly framed. Very good b&w quality. The motion is spot on as well. And I guess a subject doesn't get more interesting than this. Was he just a passer-by or some kind of street performer ? Judging from the by-standers' reactions I'm inclined to think the latter ?

why do I find this extremely funny (and good)?
The guy in plain clothes, seeming to be out of place. and especially the two policemen on the right (as looking) glancing over to him with expressions straight out of an episode of Monty Python, and seeming to think as well he's out of place.

Good. nice composition and like the warm colours. only nibble is the blurring of the bg, which is done a bit sloppy. Hope you don't mind me saying.
