    Simple. Beautiful. Fig Leaf?

After seeing the pevious comment I agree that there is too much sharpening and the lens flare distracts too. Still I like it alot.

  1. What a horrific story! It is good that you are alright. Maybe you herad the news of two shooting that happened in the USA today, one in Pensilvania and one in Utah. Crazy! Be aware of your surrondings, be safe my friend.

Very nice composition. It captures and tells a story. I also took a look at your portfolio. Stunning color work.

Also - Thanks for looking and the rating on my image.

    Stormy Weather

I like all aspects of your image more than the other one uploaded by George.

First the crop on his is too narrow. On your is give a feeling of space of loneliness.

The same for the color. The dark stormy colors contribute to the atmosphere and feel.

Nice shot. Also thanks for rating my image.

  2. As always thanks for the encouraging comments. The sky was so boring in the original shot that I had to do something with it. Mostly it was overexposed. I increased saturation to bring out whatever blue I could. I agree that a more natual looking sky would be better. I'll be posting a few other shots from this day at the beach and the shots from earlier have a nicer sky.

    Hey Catalin,

This one is really beautiful. The tones on the B&W are superb. I have been doing more B&W myself recently so I recognize what it takes to make a strong B&W image. Very well done. Congrats!
