    Helo~

I am a beginner of photography, and a new member here. Please give me

critiques and comments, and help me to improve. Thanks.

I used exposure compensation = -0.7 step, to make it more moody and

    saturated. No PS*

    It's a nice trial anyway.

I like the concept and atmosphere of your photo

I am just trying to suggest some aspects, such as framing and focuing, to further improve the photo.

You are welcome. Lets learn and improve together.

Come to my porfolio and leave some comments when you have time

I am interested most in capturing portrait, environmental portraiture and birds or other peaceful animal in general.

    ^^

    Cheers

Thank you very much for your comments.

PN is really a nice place for me to learn.

For this photo, I deliberately set the white balance to be warmer than normal, as I am trying to create a warm tonation, a feeling of Renaissance oil painting, in which only warm colour like red, brown and yellow are used.

Anthony, your PS edited photo is nice, but of a different feeling. I like the glowing feeling of the dress. Did you edit the preview size or the original size of the photo? If you have edited the large size of this photo, would you mind sending me through my email (<10Mb per email is ok)? Thank you very much.

    ^^

Thank you once again for your comments Kellen and Anthony.

    Lets keep shooting and improving.

    Check out my porfolio regularly.

    Cheers~

    nice framing.

But I think it's a bit over-exposed, such that the colour and structure of the flower is whitened and less well contrasted resp.

    Interesting shot.

It may even be better if can zoom in a little bit more, such that both the bee and flower (2 main objects) are enlarged, with the decrease in margin dimension.

nice DOF, interesting lighting - the lighter trees and foreground make me focus on the well contrast wheel, followed by the house, even if it is dark.

    A nice shot ^^

Over-exposed sky dominates the background. May consider using a polarizer or filter.

The statue on the right add some distraction to audience's attention.

    Unsatisfactory framing.

    Only fair framing.

I suggest you may either zoom in more for the face to fill up the photo, or you may try to pan the camera towards the left to include a larger area of the man and to create more space the man's sight, which is directing towards the left hand side.

Too busy background. May use a longer focal length lens, like 120mm or longer.

Very nice colour tone and composition

    Very nice framing

The scene creates a feeling of peace and harmony, especially with the dome architecture, wrt to needle-like tower.

Major attraction is the golden colour on both the dome and its reflection.

    I like the photo~ Congratulations~
