Thanks for looking!

Thanks for sharing... If this were my photo I would selectively blur the background, in particular the very visible netting/fence/cage... This will give it a more natural look... As I said, this is just my opinion, take it for what it's worth :-) (and it's not worth very much)

Nice light on this one!

Hi there, nice shots of this family... Was this at Wakodohatchee Wetlands?
-
Really nice timing! My only nit is that the tail of the fish is clipped off. Thanks for sharing!

Nice shot, I love the open beak!

This is a young great horned owl that was still on the nest and
being fed by its parents as of this past weekend. I expect that mom
and dad will be pushing him/her out of the nest sometime soon...
Taken at Loxahatchee NWR in Palm Beach County, FL on March 17, 2007.

Nice shot, good and sharp and well exposed.

Randy, these birds are very tough to exposure properly. On my monitor the whites are overexposed. When I'm photographing these birds in harsh light (it appears the light was rather harsh when this was taken) I purposefully error on the side of slightly underexposing rather than over exposing... It's almost impossible to bring out natural looking detail in overexposed highlights, however underexposed highlights can be fixed and made to look excellent... If you'd like to see an example of what I'm talking about just let me know!

Very nice, classic redish egret pose. These guys are a lot of fun to watch as they splash around the shallows. I have never seen a white morph of this species, I would love to though!

Nice environmental shot, well composed... The purple blossoms in the foreground are a nice addition.

Taken at Fort DeSoto Park in Pinellas County, Florida... I spent
about an hour on my belly in the wet sand watching this little
fella... All comments appreciated!
