Beautiful portrait of a beautiful girl! Nice Dof, great catch lights in the eyes ... not too soft and not too hard in the lighting department ... and the B&W/Sepia works fine.I'm constantly amazed at the appropriateness and artistry of non-colour portraits on this site ... and this photo is no exception. Congratulations. 6/6

It's a remarkable shot! The girl is perfect! Vulnerable, waifish, classic little character, beautifully framed and looking like a pastel drawing because of the streaky effect. The lack of primary colours and predominance of grey sets it off. This is a great photo IMHO. Congratulations.

Every picture tells a story so they say. This one certainly does. The "Eve" theme is great. The little girl is fabulous and her expression makes the whole thing work. Nice lighting, DoFand cropping too. Top shot!

Bit of a character shot really! The hand has the focus and the eyes lose out a bit as a result. Nice pinpoint catchlights though! I wouldn't worry too much about the hand ... you have other shots of her ... my favourite being the one with her head on the side and the big cheeky smile. Lovely kid! Keep up the good work.

I think the tongue has a bit to do with artistic ability too! Lol. Nice photo!

I prefer this one. It has more scope ... more like wnat you would see being there. I see the point in cropping to feature the couple in the foreground ... but that's a separate shot as far as I am concerned. photo!

... it's a beautiful shot of a beautiful little girl. Full of character and movement and delight ... but I feel the background is a little distracting. A different DoF or a blur job in photoshop might have isolated the subject a bit more and maybe added to the impact. Great capture though!

Yeah this is first class. The photo is great technically, but better still it captures character, soul and attitude. You have caught this little girl magnificently, up close and personal ... and all in monotone. Congratulations! 6/6
