Mehndi (Urdu: مہندی) is the application of henna as a temporary form of
skin decoration in Pakistan, as well as by expatriate communities from
these areas. Mehndi decorations became fashionable in the West in the
late 1990s, where they are sometimes called henna tattoos. Henna is
typically applied during special occasions like weddings and festivals
like Diwali, Bhaidooj, Teej and Eid. In some Hindu festivals every woman
tries to have Henna done on her hands and feet. It is usually drawn on
the palms and feet, where the color will be darkest because the skin
contains higher levels of keratin which binds temporarily to lawsone, the
colorant of henna. Henna was originally used as a form of decoration
mainly for brides.
Please rate and critique this, your comments are highly appreciated,
Best regards.

The Karakoram Highway (KKH) is the highest paved international road in
the world. It connects China and Pakistan across the Karakoram
mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an altitude of 4,877
metres (16,002 feet).[dubious – discuss] It connects China's Xinjiang
region with Pakistan's Northern Areas and also serves as a popular
tourist attraction. It is also referred to as National Highway 35 or
N35. Due to its high elevation and the difficult conditions in which
it was constructed, it is also referred to as the "Ninth Wonder of the
World."
Please comment, critique this photograph long with ratings. Thank you
