    I agree that the warmth of the porch light against the cool blue of the snow and stormy skies makes this image special.

     

    As a fellow South Carolinian, I say maybe we can post this image in the all the welcome centers, and maybe it'll scare away some of the notherners :)

    This is very nice. Sharp as a tack, with nice depth of field. Just enough happening in the background to give some context to the young man. A direct and forthright gaze from the subject, and just lovely tones.

    This is a nice colorful travel image, with good composition. I do think it may be a good bit oversharpened though, as it seems alost hyper-real. Kinda hurts the eyes to look at it too long :)

    Very powerful and dramatic! The smoke adds a lot of drama to this image, and the flags waving through it.

     

    I agree that it would be nice to know a little background about what is going on here.

    I like this photograph. It has a very nice mood to it, and I like the composition a lot. My only nit-pick is that the orange roof on the left commands a bit too much attention. I think just destaurating that orange would improve this image. Nice stuff!
