Why is he hanging from the door frame like that? Looks kinda strange... since there's nothing pulling him out of the picture that might cause him to grab on like that.
I think there's a visible limit to how far a character in a painting can reach out and still have the need to physically bind to the painting. In this case the chracter's crossed the threshold and is "outside", so the pose gives you a strange feeling.
The pose would work nicely if there was an empty space below (a ledge maybe), so he'd have to hang on to the frame to keep from falling. Or if there was something else (gravity?) that was physically trying to pull him out.
I would have sat him on the frame, or stood him inside the picture, while repositioning the coffee photo above, so he could maybe reach out without straining. It would look more natural, and still send the message you want to convey.

The colors don't work on this one IMHO. There's too little contrast, and the hair obstructs the eyes, which I think would be a good point of interest.
Changing the skin lighting a bit would make this photo work better.

Another excellent shot, one gallery I'll surely keep visiting.

Exceptional. THAT'S a good shot. Surely one of the best portraits I've seen.

I like Benjamin's more. The constant side shown makes for a very nice effect. A changing side doesn't really work on this shot IMHO.

I never did like those flashers on the tower. Makes the thing look like a huge christmas decoration.
I do like the angle on the shot, though.

Good Friday in Segovia, Spain.

Would look wonderful on one of those "modern era" advertisements...

The original in color had a nice duotone (brick-concrete) theme,
however I wanted to emphasize the periodic shapes of the walkway
rather than the colors, reason why I chose to desaturate.
Did a little work retouching cables and removing debris, but not too
much. No real-life shot should be completely perfect I think =)

I like how it turned out, but there's something I still can't place
that I feel could be improved. Any ideas?

Taken at a local monastery. The original included the sculpture,
painting and surrounding walls. Started playing around with the crop,
and ended up with this image, which I particularly like.

Very confusing overlap on the tip of the arm. You can't really say which machine is which. I would have tried to catch the arm while it was inclined (maybe 45-60 degrees) to avoid that overlap.

The mask on the left side looks kinda out of place, I believe the problem may be the empty space between it and the left border, when you see it your mind tends to say "that's not right: the mask should be toppling over". Maybe you could place it horizontally to minimize that weird feeling.
The rest of the composition is great. Your work reminds me a lot of Dali's dark-toned compositions. Ever tried translucent/dual shapes? (See Dali's "Face and fruit dish", "Endless Enigma")

Personally, I like how the photo reflects the size of the aqueduct...
the upwards angle gives a feeling of largeness, which is precisely
what you perceive when you're standing in front of this ancient wonder.

I dunno, something about the shape of the tree and the b/w tones that
make this piece my favorite. It's post-processed, but still there's
something that keeps me from taking my eye off it. What do you think?
