    Thanks for kind words.

I shot all of my photos posted here with Canon 400D + Tamron 17-50 + neutral density gradient filters from HiTech. Unless sun is in the composition, I always use only single exposure images. I was never fond of exposure mixing (HDR or Tone Mapping).

Thank you for the critique. I appreciate it.

Yes, most of the image is in shade. However, there is one basic rule when it comes to light - more light means less colors (when we speak about clear sky conditions). I always prefer colors over "direct"  light.

On the other hand, Julian Alps always look kind of "flat" on photos. It's that eroded limestone and absence of vegetation. This is my main "objection" to that mountain range :-)

    Hello Tony,

I must 100% agree with the last point you made "In the role of a client, my boss once told me that "perception is reality" no matter what tools you or I have". I just don't find that area distracting. If I did, I wouldn't have made it this way(original RAW has the information you're looking for). If you do and you feel like it's a flaw which brings quality (motive, light, composition, exposure, colors, stitching) of this image down, feel free to deduct as many points as you wish.

Thanks for adding me to the list. Take care, Lukas
