Can you add some contrast to base of the mtns. and the pasture; and do something to show off those clouds.

You might add some fill flash by slight curve adjustment -- that's all.

This reminds of a book called Talley's Corner about street corner men waiting for day way.

There is something peaceful and pleasant about the beginning and end of the day.

Here the water adds serenity and symmetry.

I like the subtle background colors and the color contrast of the greens and greys.

I think it would look better if the pole were either totally siloetted (sp?) or given some fill flash and darkened sky with some contrast.

This is a great dog shot!! I like it that the background tones are subdued.

Now the blade of grass in my photo is a way to draw the viewer in to the details of the "inner space"
