Well here is a picture of my dog, this is the second week of owning

my D70 (and first digital camera).

I couldnt resist myself commenting on this...im such a freakin' sucker for dogs :) Ive yet to meet one i havent liked and hasnt liked me. They truly are man's best friend. I think this is a great candid shot. Sharp, well focused (kind of redundent, i suppose) and good DOF. Im glad to see a Pet shot that isnt the owner shoving the camera in the face of the animal and using an on-camera flash. 6/6 from me!

This is a great dog shot!! I like it that the background tones are subdued.

Now the blade of grass in my photo is a way to draw the viewer in to the details of the "inner space"
