This is taken from 3842m above sea level on the Mont Blanc mountainin
Chamonix France.
I went there to ski with my gorlfriend but as she cannot ski we took
a day site seeing and this is one of the places we went.
The air was so thin and cold that it was difficult to breathe up
there and as she does not like heights she went back down almost
straight away and I stayed for about an hour to get as much footage
as I could.
This is a stitch of about 5 or 6 photos taken hand held without
gloves from the top stage of the Aguille du midi was particularly
difficult as my hands were frozen by the biting wind and -10 deg c
temperatures. I was also light headed (like being drunk) from the
thin air and running around.
Its a great place to go though and totally recommended. I would like
to go again when the clouds aren't there just to ger some perspective
as to just how high this is.
Think about it - thats 4km up from sea level without a plane!
Fantastic place to visit.
like the photo?
I have lots more.

Taken from the upp stage at 10mm on Sigma lens attached to 40D base
Its about -10c and windy with air so thin you can hardly breathe. Had
to run around though just to get all the photos I wanted in time.
Running around at this altitude is difficult as is adjusting the
camera with frozen fingers

I saw this o nthe way to work this morning and it seemed like an
ideal oportunity to try out the live view on my new Canon EOS 40D. I
dont have a wide lens so this is as good as it gets.
The contrast and colour have been VERY slightly increased, otherwise
it is as the camera saw it.
Live view rocks for landscapes!
What do you think?
Thanks

Perfect nude.
Nothing on show but loads of sexual desire. Shame about the hair though.

Very sexy pic. I like this for the fact that you cannot see her whole body or face and the fantastic composition / framing.
One of the nicest I have seen of its type.
Well done.

Check out also my London Eye picture. The tower was shot first about
a month earlier and when I saw the Caroussel at the London eye I just
couldn't resist the theme.
The Eiffel tower shot was a much nicer day (weather wise) but as the
sky was totally clear (blue) but with a hazy sun mist the picture did
need some tweeking for sharpness of the tower. The plain blue back
ground did ntohing for it so I went for the B/W version.
Do you like it?

Difficult as I did not have a triod with me. This was therefore taken
with high ISO to keep the shutter speed up to avoid shake.
Do you like it.
Thanks as always

This was taken atop the Mont Genevre ski resort in France near
Clavier (Italian border). You can ski between France and Italy here.
Its excellent.
On top of the mnountain is really quiet and peacefull and 2600 metres
high. The view is breath taking and I thought this would be hard to
capture but TBH I think I did quite a good job but the question
remains....
What do you thik?
Canon EOS 30D with Sigma 28-70 pro lens. 6 shot stitch. Polariser.
Very little touch up.
Thanks

Just thought I wanted a differnet view of the car with a bit of
contrast i nthe background. Do you know how difficult it is to photo
a white car. Please send links of any good car shots you have or have
taken.
Thanks

You dont look like shit. Just slightly tired. You should see me after a hard day! You do look a bit like that shit from Arsenal maybe - but thats a different statement ;-)
I like the image but actually prefer the one that Mark reworked. Good team work - thats what PN is all about.

Love that attachment but why on earth is it not in your portfolio on PN?
Its a great shot not only for its own value but for the story and the experience that caused it.
In my opinion, the experience of taking the shot is often worth more than the shot itself but when you get both an awesome shot and an awesome experience taking the shot then thats the real beauty of photography.
