    @Todd, thank you so very much for your kind comments regarding this image. I have photographed up on Bear Mountain off and on for nearly fifteen years and have seen it in varying conditions.     Beautiful image, Mike. Composition is superb, and it is delicately dramatic with the low fog bank, and I like the processing effect with the muted color palette. Nice work all the way around. Cheers! Chris

    Mike, this is a pretty effective image with some great layering and light. I might have stepped back a foot or two and brought a band of the well-lit foreground grasses in as the first layer. You have a bit of them over to the lower right. Good eye to see this gentle scene. Cheers! Chris

    My god, Mike, how have I not slowly gone through your collection before? This is just bang-on a beautiful composition and exposure. Funny, I was stationed up in AK in the USCG, and inexplicably took very few photographs back then (nearly 40 years ago...). I am looking forward now to looking through the rest of your images.
