A very good first attempt indeed! I like the lighting very much; especially sparkle in bird's eye. My only comment is on sharpening which looks a bit over done (effect can be seen as white specs in dark areas of the picture). But overall a very good capture with almost perfect composition.

Beautiful image Valdemar. The only comment I have  is existence of apparently some dust particles on the left side of the image that you can easily clone out.
