A moment in tree swallow's life!

Divya,
I appreciate your comment. It is indeed snow, and those subtle layers are roofs of a couple of farm buildings.

Thank you for taking time and commenting on my work. You are right about the dark circles and their application. Also, the tiny spot on the roof is actually a bird of prey (possibly a female bald eagle), but from my observation point, to small to be distinguished. I kept it to draw the attention.

A very well captured image! I really like the image of the mountains in the upper half, especially the almost circular-concentric shape in the middle, caused by natural banding of the geological formartion+its reflection on the water.

Dmitri,
Like your take on almost the same scene. You have composed it differently and I like your composition too. I did intentionally use a telephoto lens to pack as much road cureve as possible.

William,
You are right; specially when you drive through this stretch of the road, it feels different, almost like flowing!
All the best,

Zoran,
It would be fun to watch a drunk driver, drive through this maze!

Gareth,
Having been there, I think they made a wise decision to post the low speed limit. Otherwise, every other day a car would end up in the lake!

Hi Marko,
It looks unusual indeed! I believe the reason for this pattern is to make drivers slow down; otherwise they would probably end up in the lake.
