  1. Hi Laurent,

Thank you for taking time and commenting on this image. Also I am happy that you chose this as one of your favorites. You were right about frozen fingers but I am surprised that camera or batteries didn't let me down (except fogging up a bit after making it back to the car) and acted like a real trooper.

    Best Regards,

    Hadi

    Hi Laurent,

Thank you for taking time and commenting on this shot. I did play with different focal lengths and recomposed several times; in landscape mode this was my final selection and I am glad you liked it.

Happy holidays and all the best,

    Yannis,

I did not rate your image as 1. By writing 1+; I basically agreed with the last comment above mine (dirt on the sensor). Normally I don't rate images which, in my opinion, score 4 or less. I simply skip those. Hope this clears the air.

Very nice capture. The only comment I have is the sensor dust (showing as small gray circles, mostly in top portion of the image).

  2. Ruud,

Thank you for your comment. At this time of the year flocks of Canadian Geese are coming back and dominating the ponds an lakeshores in this area (NE Wisconsin); hence photo ops like this!

  3. Efim,

Thank you for your comment. It's about that time of the year that flocks of Canadian Geese are dominating the ponds and lakeshores in this area (NE Wisconsin); hence photo ops like this!

    Hi Stephen,

I appreciate your comment on this image. I was on my way to an observation spot (where there were about three dozen eagles, congregated) by the river that this scene caught my attention; first the pattern and texture, then spotted the bird.

About "Elvia Falken"; I am not sure why this person chooses to create so many eliases and leave short comments. It would have been nicer to stick to just one username and contribute more to the forum.

    Best Regards,

    Hadi
