I always find that reducing the brightness of the sky until it is darker than the landforms beneath registers in my consciousness as false. The scene is very nice, but this imbalance between sky and land is distracting. Could you hold back the mid-sky light but increase the rest of the sky in brightness until it is more natural appearing?

This works very well. Regards.

Great image. I haven't seen the color one yet. Regards.

On my monitor here at work the image is lighter. Still works.

Strong image. The rocks seem bounded and suppressed by the clouds. Nice.

Nice image. At first I thought that the right was too dark. As I scan back and forth, though, it seems to work. Good framing.

Unfortunately, you have dust on your sensor, so need to do some image cleaning. I find the distant snow peaks compelling, the sort of place I like to go. The diagonal lines are well done. The foreground needs something of interest. Catching teh high clous is nice, but you could also crop to only 1/3 sky with good effect.

Very nicely done. Good color. The haze adds to the effect.

Interesting.

Nice image but the lens flare spot in the center is distracting.

A little burnt in spots. A little blurred. Interesting setup.

Actually a nice rendition of a classic scene. Maybe a little dark in the bottom left. I guess a polarizer from the sky gradations. Maybe a graduated ND filter would have helped? Anyway, great place. A priviledge to be there.

What a fabulous image. It's all there- depth of field, composition, worthy subject, color. You go, man.

Great job at an over-photographed area. Very original. Regards.

Very well done. Stable skyline with ephimeral foreground. Classic composition. Nice.

The gentle touch in carrying images to film to scan to print or internet can be poorl understood. I find it harder and harder to recall the exact colors as I give in to the ease of digital. Photojournalism or art? either way it is beautiful.

Captivating image. Great transition from water to atumn to snow as one gazes up the image. Well done.
