Nice capture!

Sir! What an inspiring image. What a place. With man laid carefully upon its brow.

Hi Mr. Dumas. Your art will surely outlive you. Glad to see your productivity has not slowed. The world is odd enough- you bring some of it into focus.

Very nice.

With a horizontal series as a theme, I find the height of the sky confusing. Cropping down, maybe to a standard 2x3 proportion landscape emphasizes the horizontal progression of the houses. The extra height of the sky does create a tension or unease with the state of things.
The colors make for a comfortable winter scene, even to the houses matching the dormant grass. The horizontal line in the low center gives depth and invariably leads us to the houses. I'm still left feeling/wondering the sky is too tall. For what reason? -
Just a grab shot on the way to the river. I liked the suggestiveness of
the open gate.

Very well placed image. Full use of the dynamic range. I like this very much.

Very nice slot canyon image. Beautiful.

A fine image. Well done!

I am always drawn to the junctions such as this. My understanding is that this shows a shift of the prevailing winds and a different sand deposition direction.

I agree. Very appealing colors, but I think it needs a few degrees rotation counterclockwise. Also, very unsharp.

I love the area. I would lighten the dark areas of the shot by about a stop. Shadow/highlight control in photoshop is good for bringing up the shadows.

I can see why you wanted to capture the alpenglow on the rock. It is a bit subtle. Nice sunset colors. Maybe slight lightening of the sand above the red rock.
-
Well how could you go wrong with water that clear. Very appealing. Nice colors.

Beautiful color . Looks like HDR. Nice scene.
-
The color of sunrise and sunset. Delicious. At this small size the clouds in the sky are almost pixilated. No matter.

Ground zero at Ship Rock is such a desolate place that almost anything would be an improvement. However, the rock is a bit too dark to identify. If you can fly about, coming in more level with the rock might be interesting. A bit more light on the subject would be good as well.

It is a little dark overall, but very appealing. An HDR might have been good if the wind was not blowing much. It does capture the dying light of day. Nice.

If you read our Jefferson, he despised big government but started the Republican Party. Crazy.
