The beauty of chrome, leather and paint; when it all comes together
it is a beautiful thing!

David,
Very, very clever and creative image, sort of a neo J-Rock sort of feel, lots of attitude combined with studied indifference.
Love the high key, low contrast look of the young woman, who is very beautiful, and perfect for this shot.
And the bikini top! Man, that yellow is doing some serious popping! My one bitch is that I can't read what it says ;-)
For me this is one of your more creative efforts (and that says alot); I could see this as a fashion or editorial image in a top fashion mag.
A 7/6 from me.

Mark,
Quite a few years ago a friend of mine let me take his CBX out for a spin; scared the Hell out of me! (And my ride at the time was a Norton 850!)
Great shot, very evocative of the power of these inline-6 beauties. I especially like how the shot captures the bike coming up over a rise; says it all about why we ride.
A 6/6 from me.

David,
A very charming portrait of a beautiful young woman. Love the framing, the pose, the soft, pouty quality of the expression; but what really makes this image work for me is the hat! I love the pattern created by the light coming through.
Don't know how color could make this any better; B&W seems to suit it perfectly.
A solid 6/6 from me.

Art,
A very unusual take on a way overdone image; I really like that you pulled back to include the foreground, and the storm clouds add a powerful threat to what could have been a more typical, Chamber of Commerence postcard shot.
Well done, and a 6/6 from me.

Ah, you have to love Florida in the Summer.

Andrzej,
It was pretty scary taking the shot, since there was lightning hitting all around. (Tampa is known as the "Lightning Capital of the World"; some honor!)
Again, thanks,

David,
I've seen something like this done before, but not this well. I like the blue tones, and the shift from dark to light in the background; feels like I'm looking at a curved surface. Very sharp in the details; is this a macro shot, or a CGI? Forgive me for asking, since I've never done one before.
Anyway, cool shot.

Renae,
Cool shot. I happened to stumble on your porfolio and saw this image: Very, very good.
I love to shoot stunters, and you have this one pegged; like the others mentioned, it is very hard to shoot these idiots (even if you are married to them!) for they often play in the bright light of mid-day, and usually with the sun at the wrong angle.
So, well done. A 6/6 from me. (And a 6/6 to your husband, too).

Susan,
A very charming image; the boy connects with the camera with an abashed innocence that is gently captivating. But what makes the shot work is the love and pride in the mother's face, a look that translates in any language, in any locale.
Sharpe; beautiful tones; the complete package.
Very, very well done.

Roger,
A very beautiful image, but, personally, I think that there is not enough happening in the foreground, besides the reflections, to give it that much space. But, hey, some say "To-mott-toe", some say...
A 6/6 from me.

Tad,
What can be said: This is as perfect a landscape image as one can get. You could hold a Master's Class, based on this image, for it has it all: Dramatic subject; tones; lighting; and mood.
A 7/7 from me. (I wish that it could be more!)
With deepest respect,

Xiaoping,
A very beautiful image; love the compostition and color. Very, very well done.

Keith,
Okay, I don't get it. Didn't you say some time back that you don't ride? Then how in the Hell do you capture, so vividly, what it feels like to ride?
Make this into a poster, and you would have a winner!
Great angle and composition, great image; even though it is only 6am here in the States, it makes me impatient for the sun to come up so that I can burn up some curves near my home before work!
Way to go.

Keith,
I don't know; I like the angle of the composition. Sort of a "Rice Rocket" taking off! Personal taste, I guess. But, hey, ain't that what Art is all about?
Great pan, though. You nailed this one, but good.

Susan,
What a beautiful image. And what a great capture of the poverty and strain of life in rural China. I like the open cropping of the image, instead of drawing in tight on the face; her surroundings set the tone of poverty she exists in.
I'm not as much a fan of your color images (nothing wrong with them; it's just that your B&Ws are so incredible), but the intense red and the patterned dress is a vibrant burst set against the unlit blackness of her shop, and the dusty door sill and blocks would not have been as effective in B&W.
Again, a very beautiful image.

Susan,
What a charming image; great capture of personalities, and I am dying to find out what is in the building that is more interesting than you and your camera!
Very, very well done.

David,
Should have known that the mystery would be solved "in the end"!
Maybe if she was holding her top, instead of wearing it, you might have gotten more reaction. Whatever. It is still a great shot, very creative, and I enjoyed it.
Cheers,
Glenwood
