Break a few rules, take a day off work, cheat at cards, smash some

old dishes...visit your folks...put the horizion in the middle !

Roger,

A very beautiful image, but, personally, I think that there is not enough happening in the foreground, besides the reflections, to give it that much space. But, hey, some say "To-mott-toe", some say...

A 6/6 from me.

just think the foreground very attractive, like a beautiful wet table. However, the bottom can miss a cm. By that the approach of getting the middle will be achieved.

(Just out of my Dutch wrist, stupid English..?)

Roger, this came out quite nice! I agree with Olaf, I'd take a 'cm' off of the bottom, right up to the edge of the reflection in the wet sand. Superb composition and colors. Well done. I think I'll go smash some crockery now. Cheers! Chris

I love the setting. I love the colors ans shades. I would also probably take/crop picture with less space for beach at the bottom. The rocks seems to have pushed up to the ceiling in the frame by the foreground. No matter what I enjoyed it.

Hey, I'm not going to change a thing here cuz I like it as it is....very personal thing, croping and there is no RIGHT way it is done...Off the bottom, side, top...all turns out the same, someone will tell you it is wrong, and who knows better, you or them ?

Off the box now, enjoy your day, and break some rules.....NOW !

And another beauty. The reflections of the rocks are have such a big impact here. The only thing I have to pick on is "the horizon in the middle". ( just kidding). Cheers, Uwe.

Rules, rules ... who cares about rules?? This is beautiful! I love the sky ... and the rocks (are they called haystacks in Oz?) are amazing. Gosh, I have to get down there one of these days!

Rules are made to be broken, I always say! :) This is fantastic! I love the bronze color of the sand countering the blue sky. I would also take a very small amount off of the bottom, but I still think you need some space around the reflection, so not too much. Bravo on this!
