Reminds me of a photo that was posted here, on photo.net, few years ago - with a tree and birds in the air. This is different but in a way very similar in thought.
OK, here it is:
-
One word. Venus!
-
Beautiful as usual! Was it shot this spring in Paris, John?

The dog was not part of the photoshoot. It was wandering around while the
master did some mowing nearby. More like an opportunistic shot but hope
we did well here.
-
Nice tones and pose. Like the way she holds her fingers.

Jerry, I prefer color version - green color is the decisive here to me. Bright [young] ferns against dark [old] moss on the trees. Seems, you have opted for more contrast here as well.

Strong, I mean very strong!
If I was nitpicking, that door hinge is a tiny bit distracting from the eyes. On the other hand - it rhymes well with the golden stripes on the cap and yellow strip of [hard to say what exactly it is] skirt.
-
Love the flow of lines and composition. What is a source of the glow - is it just water or some oil?

Alan, sometimes I'm just in a mood to play with textures, trying something new.
-
Love the subtle dreamy feel.

From a series of claypainting.

Thank you Herman! The whole project took a whole day [from about 10 in the morning to 10 in the evening] as we first had to travel about 70km to the abandoned 19th century paper mill. If it was not +30C that day, model would freeze because evaporating water from the clay emulsion takes a lot of body heat with it. The base layer is made of clay found in a gravel quarry while color is added with cosmetic clay [strictly - no artificial colors as we did not want to irritate the skin]. The building provided shade and all the backgrounds in the world. Model has no hesitation working with me, so there were no issues regarding poses or coloring.
-
Ethereal. One of my favorites!
-
Love the light and colors.
I'v got a feeling that model has a little tension holding the pose (neck).
-
One of the Red rose series.

A hot summer day + some clay + spare time = some fun photos.

This is one of my favorites from the rally series. Eight times (as of the end
of 2011) world rally champion Sebastien Loeb, Rally de Portugal 2009.
There's a helicopter circling around the football stadium filming the event.
-
Rally photogs at work. Portugal, 2009.
-
This was taken in 2009, during Rally d'Italia Sardegna. Khalid Al Qassimi
almost lost control over his Ford WRC when car hit the hidden stone in a
small river ford.

David, I think you have achieved your goal - looking at the picture makes me [how to better put it?] dizzy. Composition, placing the girl a little bit upside down, provides a feeling that I'm standing somewhere above her, just stumbled upon the scene during a walk in the woods.
