What makes me a little uncomfortable - there's an itch to get up from the chair and help her to hold the heavy blanket. Lighter garmet would not create this feeling.

John, light is spot on (IMHO) and yes - the eyes are making the difference!

Pose is strong and stockings add to the scene.

Was the spot light on model's right leg intentional? It's a little distracting. I'd probably use softer light source there.

Shot in an old barn, light is coming through the partly collapsed roof.

Postprocessing involved custom raw conversion and combination of

monochrome and color images, all performed in PWP.

Thank you, Grayham for the version. What I can see now is another mistake made by me - the left hand comes out as very big and bright spot. As the shot was candid, not posed, and I did not want to lighten/darken any part of the image, the result is a little darker face. When picture is untouched hands somehow blend into it but when you crop the background out they appear more bold in the scene.

No need for apologies as there is no profile picture [yet] of me and the name to English speakers looks more like the one of Ms. Joplin.
