If her hand wasn't cut off it'd be a perfect portrait. Wonderful lighting. There's not too many photographers that understand wonderful lighting setups such as this.

    Well done...

Maybe just a shade under exposed. The background indicates this. The eyes are dull, I'd pop on a flash.

Who am I to be so critical? Been published in mabe 50 nature magazines.

boy, this would be great if you moved to the left and made the bride the center point, this means moving her hair just a bit and the groom would be the admirer not the center of attention in this case. just a thought. This is the brides day only. The guys just go along. Well sort of!

I really like the shot. Well done.

nice pose, nice lighting. I've been watching your posted images. I look forward to seeing them. Lots of natural talent. On this shot the model can't see her hair. I can, others do too. give her a mirror and ask her to adjust her hair. I never, well hardly ever touch a lady - "he touched me in the wrong place." You get the idea. a lawsuit. I often use lady assistants just for this.

added to the past statement you put her right arm to use. Now you need to turn her into a 45 degree angle showing more of how well she's built. It also looks like she's straining when turning this much adding wrinkles in her neck and shoulder bone. As already stated, use her hair, don't cut it off. Actually she probably spent 45 minutes or much more getting her hair to look good.

As said before you are doing very well.

cute lady, cute hair, a decent pose. The wall is sooo distracting. The top of her hair blends into the darker wall. I'd also drop the left shoulder and raise the right shoulder, very simply to do, just ask her to switch her weight from the left to the right. Maybe play with bringing up the leather jacket up to her right shoulder area letting peoples eyes lead to the tattoo. It's a cool tatt. The right side of her back is useless. It actually hurts the pose.

Yes I'm being very picky. It could be the difference between a rating of a 4 to a hard 6.

I've shot for playboy, Miss America, Bud beer, so I'm picky here. I feel your photo could be a rating of a 6 with just minor adjustments.

My clients have been Miss America, Playboy, USC cheerleaders, and Bud models, many, many, others as well.

The background is very cool. For modeling, don't crop off the heads nor cut off joints, in your case the knees, the elbows, the hips and the feet - NEVER. Also do something with her right arm. Let publishers do the cropping. With her right arm, maybe have her look at a hand held mirror so something, checking herself out, put her right arm on her waist, not her hip area and tell her to give you an attitude and don't stop shooting with the attitude. Here's a huge secret. Women usually know what to do naturally. You just guide them by saying to move something to the left, the right, tilt the head and they know how to do this just by many years of looking into a mirror. Her right hand can also be holding lipstick towards her lips. Just don't let it hang. You can even ask her to switch it around a bit. Use her right arm to cover up and her left arm behind her head playfully playing with her hair.

You just about nailed this image, therefore a high 5. With careful added lighting, plus a beautiful bracelet it would be a 6.

As it stands, I really like this. Since not much of anything is going on below her breasts this would be my crop point.

Feel free in sending me a file and I can play with Photoshop and try to show different cropping points.

The lady is beautiful. Can you ask her for another photo shoot?

Take some looks at the very top womens magazines and study the front covers. Just go to a book store, no need to buy anything. I hardly ever see heads cut off.

I'm way too picky here, but you are so close to being a top shooter I took the time to try and help you. You have talent. Just build on it. Hope this helps.

Oh, get some jewelry on, a neckless, wrists, but not that thing that looks like a rubber band.
