DOF just make this image for you

    it makes so much difference

    B&W is perfect choice also

simple street shot taken to a whole better level

    love it

    regards

  1. the are many ways as  you already know

there is nothing better than pair of eyes and human brain

content aware is a great tool, works but not always 100%

as I wrote above try some combinations of those tools, experiment a little

with practice you'll get  very good with it

    cheers

  2. your captured great colors there

composition is good, but twisted somehow

I think you need co correct horizontal lines, looks like your have top and bottom right already

look at  the arrow sign then follow to right to the end of image

try 'free transform' tool  and  pull it bit down

    imagine geometric grid guiding you

    I hope it'll help you

    regards

  3. Ruud already summarised  it all

good street image, well defined perspective !

for hand held shot  its still sharp

I guess you have image stabiliser built-in,

you could sharpen it  a bit if you wanted to, it would add  bit of zest to it

just recently I learnt a good method how to sharpen images for web and print

    I'm happy to share information

    regards

  4. your removed cloud Ok,

what I see o my monitor  is a small but visible discolouration   where cloud was

I don't know how you removed cloud, there is a several methods and combinations of them to archive good result

try heal brush with patch tool and maybe some extra cloning, but sample area close and horizontal to where you want to fix gradient sky

    I find this  difficult too

its tedious work sometimes especially when  your work with clouds

but ones its done well nobody will tell the difference

    I hope it helps you

    regards

  5. love  your street  image

it's good composition, your found right angle to accommodate all your elements

great textures there and colors as well

the small weed adds a final touch to  lifeless matter

    well done

    regards

    Chicago Skyline

    GungaJim is right

your have well defined wavy clouds on your skyline , that dark round cloud with the tail is bit of destruction

leave a blue or intensify a bit,  experiment

    then repost it here

it may turn out  better then you think

    I hope it helps

    regards

I'm really surprised that no one  commented on this great image

the  greenish  tint is very good

It's great abstract , the only suggestion I may have is this

if you made those dark 'windows'   gradient like and also shades above them kind of smooth  it would only add quality to it

I only hope you know what I mean

    otherwise excellent work !

    what a great image Radoslaw

simple,  elegant with  frozen motion effect, whitch  adds so much to the mood here

very good choice of BW with excellent silver tonality

that's only one of so may great images you have in your collection I enjoyed

    great experience

    my regards

  6. thank you everyone for your  generous opinions, comments and marks

Willow Spring Station SA is extraordinary location with  lots of hills and those blue-violet flowers are everywhere but,

original image  'full frame' is  kind of boring and too messy , with not much happening on ether side

that's the reason I opted for tighter square crop

thanks for your  confirmation Stephen on  sharpening  method working  well

     :)

     regards

you have very nice depth here,  nice reflections there also

so Tony how you get such a good luminosity range out of one RAW file?

    ...

    and those  V cloud formation!

I crack my head open how you guys get those ?

would you advise me in that, and did you try less  of  a brightness  ?

    regards

  7. hi,

not sure if this crop works with my composition, also I applied

sharpening method recommended by Chip Phillips
