Damn you're good!

Yes. Where's all your fans for this pretty prize? Your September folder seems to be showing nothing but seriously well edited and thoughtful work. I know you can make it look easy but I sense an earnestness in your effort here. I again need to comment on the light your achieving. The end result is very pleasing. There is a nice soft highlight throughout with warmth and stunning detail and your color-work is spot on.

This too is one of my most recent favorites. It holds true to the McRitchie multi-layered composition which is somehow delicate and bold in this rendition and the real stregth. That magical light which everyone is focusing on. A soft, bluish, other-worldly light balanced by dueling parasols. I can't ooze enough superlatives on this. Most impressive work.

Love everything about this one. Soft edges, green blur, sharp car and perfect angle. Sweet.

Voilà
To suggest an appearance as if by magic.
Fine skills strong and subtle. The best of blends.

Oh yes! I really think this series is spectacular. Some of your finest. Just great to see.

Yes, much story and yarn. Contemplation and philosophy. I think its a fine art piece.

A composition mystery. Perhaps Miss Scarlet in the Conservatory With the Lead Pipe.

More like a present, all tied up in a bow ready for it's close up. Served up well an served à la carte with just a hint of street on the side.

Well there are serendipitous crops and there's this. Marvelous decisions being made on precise angles, shapes, shadows. An image one could study at length only to begin again. You are a composer extraordinaire.

Simple yet complex...like calligraphy.

Wonderfully insignificant.

Your masterful eye for precise composition is enhanced with the bold line structure and and typography framing the portrait scene. Very nicely contained and the window graffiti tops it.

I'm not sure how many times I have revisited this image but I know this photo as well as many others in your portfolio serve to please over and over again. I enjoy turning on the slideshow feature and getting lost in your work. Pure artistry.

I agree with Ed. You really should consider assembling a collection of these (color) passengers on a train, series. I recall this wonderful green in other shots. The sun spot beaming in makes an already compelling composition, magical.

Pristine, pure, graphic and joyous.

This is a wonderful composition.

Superb shot Jim.

It's truly a pleasure to see work this good. Photo.net should pay you to participate. I really can't say enough about what works with this image but thank god you know when to let exposure stay or go. In this instance the framed face is allowed to be even more penetrating thanks to your exposure allowance.

I think there might be an elk or something trapped in your ceiling. Along with the fish on the walls I'd assume you were some place I might like to hang out.
