Looks like a wonderful trip John. Great shots!

A natural and true representation of the beautiful people of Bhutan. I didn't know you had visited or I probably would have picked your brain prior to going. Great place, great photo.

Hi Tammy, I love the atmosphere/location in this shot. I always appreciate the contrast between fashion/beauty and urban texture. Nice post work too.
-
A killer example of why light and shadow are the best friends a photographer can have.
-
An almost unexplainable amount of emotion from a relatively simple scene. The sign of a true artist with a camera.
-
A daring composition that has your recognizable signature. The feeling of tension and hurry is laid nicely over a backdrop grid of competing communication.

This is an excellent portrait and truly captures a sense of place. There's a nice play of line and shadow at work here as well.

Hi Carlos,
Another exceptional example of your fine portrait work. Thank you also for leading me to Steve Gubin. I followed your comment on his very fine work. You're pretty much a sure bet for evaluative skills.

Well it took me about 1.2 seconds to add this to my favorites. I admire your ability to make intelligent composition decisions to create odd but beautiful graphic compositions. It's visual candy and you are good for a sweet eye. Very pleasing work Laurent.

Well Jack I can only say you have a rare and beautiful authentic quality both in your approach to photography and your execution. I have admired your work for nearly 5 years and your unwavering-consistent bounty keeps me glued to your latest unveiling like a boy at a peep show.
Thank you.

Each image is in its own right worthy of evaluation but the collection as a whole is most impressive. Trust all is well with you.

Yes, this is one of those remarkable pictures that you seem to be able to capture with complete invisibility. Nothing but a superbly composed image that tells story with want of nothing else. Excellent!

I always love seeing what cup of tea the Mad Hatter is serving. This is your typical well brewed minimal magic.

You're work just keeps getting better and better. This "The Snow Came" series is spectacular.
-
Well your portfolio has endless goodies that keep one unproductive however quite inspired. This one combines your vast skills as an illustrator/photographer in it's wonderful composition and depth.
Thanks for the kind words recently. It got me to find you. Continued progress to you and your honed craft.

"It's all in my mind" is the beauty of your artistry Jack. Thanks for letting us peak inside once in awhile.

Sort of like the deeper cuts version for photography enthusiasts. Shadowy temporary textures.

Hi Jack, I'm sitting in the Narita airport on a layover and thought I better see what my friend Jack is up to. It's another magic act image...pulling from thin air an aesthetic beauty that I can assure you most would snooze right by. Wish we could bump into one another one of these days. Take care.

Rich comes in many forms.

I like seeing how you bring the flavor of your city home. The spontaneity of this capture is great.

Beautiful work and title. The entire folder has been worth spending time reviewing. It's interesting to see your choices for color and B&W work.

As witnessed in you "Scapes" folder, I do love your high-key approach with certain subjects. A heightened feeling of purity is felt through subtle hues of white on white, with just enough shadow to define a suggestion of shape. An artistic and glorious study of negative and positive shape.
