A canal along Goose Creek (tributary to the Potomac) was built as abusiness venture in the early 19th century. It was a colossul failure.Much of the canal is still there as a testament to dreams and failure.

The settings for this shot were: ISO320, f14, 1/6. Shooting fireworks on the ground seems to be a different set of challenges from shooting the airborne ones.

These are not the high in the sky fireworks. These are the little ones on the ground. I hope this gives a better context for looking at this. Again, you have to look larger to really see it!.
