I realized right after I posted this image that it was the wrong version. It is oversaturated and it is sharpened badly. That being said, I just left it because it still represents the vision I had when I shot it.

The range of ratings is both perplexing and entertaining. I log in often just to see how odd it has gotten.

I appreciate the kind and constructive comments I have received. The 3/3 does, however, intrigue me. Why? We are all entitled to evaluate images as we like, however, with such a wide range of ratings a hint of why would be very useful for me to maybe see my image with a different perspective.

It was striking how blue the glaciers could look. I don't know if it

was the time of day or vantage point, but the blue glow of the ice was

amazing. Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau, Alaska.
