Nature cooperated this morning. :)

These are my grandparents. Both have amazing stories of how they got to America. They met in New York. My grandfather came to live with us when my grandmother died. I grew up in a three generation household. I adored my Pops. He was just shy of his 100th birthday when he died. This was truly a labor of love.

I like the old painted sign juxtaposed with the electrical tubing.

The colors are pretty true to reality. I love the deep colors of the southwest. Even in the most unlikely of places.

I had to lay down on my belly on a crowded sidewalk for this shot. A
young boy was the only one who asked what I was taking a picture of.
When I told him texture he seemed perfectly happy with that answer
even though I suspect he didn't understand.

A very strange statue attached to Sather Tower on the UC BerkeleyCampus. He must have been something when the copper was shiny and new.I love the oxydation.
