<p>My kit for hiking and cycling is a D600 with 24-85 VR and 70-200 f4 VR carried in a Lowepro Slingshot Edge. I also carry my carbon fiber tripod in its own bag. The total weight of the kit is about 8 lbs not including food and water.</p>
